Robert L. “Bob” Gould, doing business as Bravo Golf Aviation has been in aviation for over 50 years. Beginning as an “apprentice mechanic” in 1968, he remains active in the business aviation and repair station environment, and has held various capacities including several supervisory and managerial roles. He has a strong interest in advocating safety practices since his early days as a professional Naval Aviation Maintenance Officer. During his naval career, he held numerous maintenance positions with increasing responsibilities, and retired with the rank of Captain in 2002.
Bob has a Commercial Pilot certificate with single and multi-engine, instrument, and glider ratings, and is a Certificated Flight Instructor and Ground Instructor. He obtained his FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings in 1981. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Kent State University and a Masters of Art in Business Policy from the State University of New York. Bob is also a graduate of the University of Southern California Aviation Safety Program with a Certificate in Aviation Safety and Security, where he is now instructs Human Factors and Safety Maintenance Management in that prestigious program. Bob is a former IBAC IS-BAO Advanced SMS Auditor performing stage 1, stage 2, and stage 3 audits.
Bravo Golf Aviation is an active member of the National Business Aviation Association and is a FAA FAASTeam member representative.
